A Game of Scones by Samantha Tonge
I downloaded this book to take on holiday with me and I wasn’t disappointed. It was a perfect light-hearted, entertaining romantic read.
Now possibly I should have paid more attention to the look of the cover – olive trees anyone? But I didn’t. I saw blue sea, sailing boats and quaint little seaside houses in the distance. I thought scones, summer, little table and chairs, gotta be set in Devon or Cornwall or something similar. But no. It’s in a small fishing village called Taxos in Greece.
